In the world of track and field the 10k is the dreaded 25-lap race that tests you mentally and physically as you count each grueling lap trying each time to tell yourself you feel great when inside your saying "WHYY". Its the race that step by step you must carefully judge your pace so that you don't knock out in the last mile. You can't go balls to the wall from the start thinking you can just hold on. It's strategic, it's tough, it's CRAZY, and I LOVE IT.
